The study analyses the balance sheets and P&L statements of largest German family owned businesses (with at least 50 million Euro turnover per year) between 2013 and 2016. It thereby shows the development of key figures such as turnover, employment, equity and debt ratios. A particular focus of this study is on the economic importance of these firms and their net investments.
