This study analyses the employment and income situation of Young Women MINT Profes-sionals (YWMP) in small and medium-sized establishments. The results show that YWMP are strongly under-represented, somewhat less in micro and large establishments than in small and medium-sized ones. The extent to which they are represented also depends on the sector to which the establishment belongs, the profession they pursue and the level of qualification required. YWMP's employment opportunities are good when women make up a large proportion of the workforce, women are represented in management and the establishment implements gender equality measures. YWMP earn less than their male counterparts. How-ever, the gender pay gap is smaller than in the private sector as a whole and not more pro-nounced in smaller enterprises than in larger ones
